Villa Clay Nursing Home, Germany

Elegance and style for Berlin nursing home

Altro Ensemble

The Villa Clay was built by the Grüntal Group and opened in autumn 2016 on the site of the former Oskar Helene Home, a facility for people with physical disabilities, who gained world fame through new medical techniques.

Elegance, style and ambience characterize the apartments. In addition to a lounge and a communal kitchen, 12 apartments with barrier-free bathrooms, kitchenettes and a 24-hour emergency call have been created in generously sized wings. In total, the residence comprises 116 apartments.

Wolfgang Biestle from the Villingen Planning Office for Senior Facilities W. Biestle e. K. selected Altro Ensemble as it com-bines the aesthetics of a domestic home with the functional requirements of a retirement home.

As part of the high-quality interior design of Villa Clay, the floors also contribute to the overall impression. The Grüntal Group selected Altro Ensemble modular floor and laid in her-ringbone pattern for the dining room, public areas, corridors, entrance area, gymnastics room and parts of the apartments, comprising 8,000m² in total.
