Altro are delighted to welcome Audrey Flanagan to the team as Business Development Manager, Republic of Ireland. Audrey joins us with a wealth of experience in the construction industry coming from a technical specification manager role, and with a history in the commercial washroom and sanitary ware sector.
Audrey will be responsible for specification sales of Altro flooring and wall solutions in the Irish construction industry. To this end, she will be working closely with an array of clients, distributors, and architects. Audrey has enjoyed a varied career and held previous roles including National Sales Manager and Specification Manager Ireland at Venesta, Commercial Manager at Versatile Bathrooms and Interiors, and Sales and Marketing Manager for Travertine Ireland and Artisan Marble. Audrey was also the owner and Managing Director of her own company, Texture, selling commercial textiles into the architecture and design industry, and started her career as a fine-arts trained sculptor. This background has equipped her with strong architectural and design knowledge and experience.
Tim Walker, Altro’s Area Manager for the Middle East, India and Ireland said: “With Audrey’s extensive experience and knowledge, she will be able to help us identify new business opportunities, build customer relationships, generate revenue, improve profitability and to help the business in the Republic of Ireland grow further.”
Audrey added: “I am looking forward to building on the base of contacts we have in the Republic of Ireland, and using my experience of working with specification teams to build new relationships within the market.
“The role within Altro attracted me because of the company’s family ethos and values, their link to Bauhaus, and their drive to develop innovative products such as Altro Whiterock Digiclad, Altro Ensemble, Altro Whiterock Chameleon, Altro Fortis door protection, and the new adhesive-free floors. I am looking forward to working with and educating architects, building on Altro’s brand awareness – knowing that specifiers will be excited by the design and functionality aspects of these products.”
